# Ebsar — Computer Vision Research & Product Studio

> Ebsar is a computer vision research & product studio based in the UAE. We build and operate our own AI products that turn cameras into structured data and automated decisions across three markets: automotive, insurance, and retail. A shared research core — object detection, OCR, and fine-grained classification, trained on 7M+ annotated real-world images — powers every product, compounding each deployment into a defensible body of computer vision IP.

## What we do

We are a product studio, not a consultancy: we build, ship, and operate our own software. Three products are live in production today, with more in development. Every model is trained, tested, deployed, and maintained by the same team that researches it. Products deploy on cloud, on-premise, or edge (via ONNX), so data stays where it belongs.

Automotive · Parking & Traffic. Real-time automatic number plate recognition running in production across the GCC. Detects plates, reads them via OCR (Latin and Arabic scripts), and classifies vehicle make, model, and color from a single frame.

Retail · In-Store Analytics. In-store analytics from existing CCTV — counting visitors, tracking dwell time, detecting growing queues, and monitoring shelf stock — processed on-device for privacy.

## How we build

Research → Train & Benchmark → Productize → Operate & Improve. We study a real problem and its data, train models against measurable targets (accuracy, latency, robustness), turn winning models into products (API, dashboard, integrations), then run them in production with monitoring and retraining.

- Founder: Abzal Assembekov, Founder of Ebsar and Bootstrapped Ventures. Previously founded ContactInBio (2017–2021), a bio-link platform that grew to 100,000+ users across the USA, Indonesia, and Brazil with over a million monthly visitors, acquired by Taplink in 2021.
