Ebsar is a product studio — we build and run our own software on a shared research core. ANPR.software runs in production across the GCC, performing real-time license plate recognition, car brand/model classification, and OCR from camera feeds. DamageDetection.software grades vehicle damage from photos with 98%+ accuracy in under five seconds for insurance claims and fleets, and LPR.software extends plate recognition across multi-country formats.
We publish our research and release trained models as open source, compounding every deployment into a defensible body of computer vision IP across automotive, insurance, and retail.

Our Story
Built by ML researchers and product founders
Ebsar grew out of the team behind ANPR.software, founded in 2025 in the UAE. Our engineers are ML researchers and backend developers who spent years building datasets and training models for the physical world.
The founding team has built and shipped software at scale before — including ContactInBio, a bio-link platform grown to 100,000+ users and acquired in 2021. We bring that same product discipline to computer vision: research that ships, and products that people actually use.
Automotive first
ANPR.software and LPR.software recognize plates, makes, and models across GCC and multi-country formats at 1s.
Into insurance
DamageDetection.software grades vehicle damage from photos for claims, rentals, and fleets.

Retail Vision turns existing CCTV into footfall, dwell-time, queue, and shelf-availability analytics.
Abzal Assembekov
is the founder of Ebsar.ai and Bootstrapped Ventures, a UAE-based technology company building applied AI and computer vision products for automotive, insurance, retail, and enterprise customers.
Over the past 15 years, he has founded multiple software companies, built products used by businesses across the Middle East and worldwide, and led engineering teams delivering production software in industries ranging from e-commerce and education to logistics and manufacturing.
Before Ebsar, Abzal founded multiple technology startups in the UAE. At the age of 20, his startup Propertyin360 was recognized by Forbes Middle East as one of the 50 UAE Startups to Watch and was nominated by Arabian Business and STEP Conference for innovation and entrepreneurship. He later founded ContactInBio, which grew to more than 100,000 users and one million monthly visitors before being acquired by Taplink in 2021.
Today, he leads Ebsar's product and engineering efforts, developing production-ready computer vision systems including ANPR.software, DamageDetection.software, and LPR.software, with a focus on GCC markets and enterprise deployments.
